The new Term has begun and everyone really enjoyed the new improved playground.  We have lots more ideas for improvement and hope to have everything in place over the coming months.

We have been really busy over the summer holidays updating our outside area.  Work began with  painting the building and all the boarding. The playground now  has a large new sandpit, a water wall and a fantastic workshop.  A huge ‘Thank-you’ to the staff and parents involved!

The children really enjoyed our pet week; we had visits from a cat a tortoise, two dogs, a bearded dragon, a chicken  and a cat. Thank you to everyone who brought in their pets to show to the children and thank you to Meopham Veterinary Hospital who sent one of their vet nurses to talk to the Stepping Stones children about caring for animals.

We had an exciting ride on a vintage double decker bus today as we took part in the annual parade through the village. We had were given tickets by the lovely bus conductor and enjoyed waving to all the people lining the route to Playpen.
